Indigenous-Led Funds (ILFs) as financing mechanisms created and governed by Indigenous Peoples to ensure resources flow directly, transparently, and effectively to community-led priorities. Active across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and beyond, ILFs operate at territorial, national, regional, and global levels, with some funds dedicated specifically to Indigenous women.<\/p><p>Collectively, ILFs partner with philanthropies, bilateral donors, and multilateral agencies, and have supported over 2,000 Indigenous-led initiatives in more than 80 countries, disbursing over USD 30 million to date. Rooted in Indigenous governance, traditional knowledge, and values of reciprocity and self-determination, ILFs form a growing global movement transforming climate and biodiversity finance, with collaboration with the Country Steering Committees (CSCs) and Charapa, launched a baseline survey to strengthen its understanding of Indigenous networks and priorities across Asia.<\/p><p>The survey was guided by a questionnaire developed collectively by the IPAS Board, with national and sectoral consultants engaged to support its implementation. Data collection was conducted online, followed by a manual validation process to ensure accuracy and completeness. This effort was grounded in principles of trust, patience, dialogue, and mutual learning, fostering a collaborative approach among Indigenous Peoples in Asia.<\/p><p><br \/>A total of 433 organizations participated in the survey, representing key regional networks, national organizations, Indigenous youth, women, and persons with
