Istimewanya, ini juga menjadi pertama kalinya sidang Majelis Gandaki dilaksanakan menggunakan bahasa Gurung dan Magar \u2014 sebuah wujud nyata dari keadilan bahasa yang hidup dan berdaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tonggak sejarah ini melanjutkan langkah yang telah ditempuh Provinsi Bagmati, yang lebih dulu mengakui bahasa masyarakat adat Nepal Bhasa dan Tamang sebagai bahasa resmi dalam administrasi pemerintahan. Hal ini mencerminkan semakin kuatnya gerakan masyarakat adat di seluruh Nepal untuk menegakkan dan memulihkan hak serta identitas mereka. RUU ini juga membuka jalan bagi standar komunikasi yang inklusif, dengan mengakui secara resmi bahasa isyarat, bahasa isyarat sentuh, dan huruf braille bagi penyandang disabilitas\u2014yang merupakan RUU lain yang sedang diperjuangkan oleh kelompok dan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Sebuah langkah berani dan visioner yang menetapkan preseden baru bagi tata kelola yang inklusif di kawasan ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pencapaian ini mencerminkan kepemimpinan tanpa lelah dari para pejuang masyarakat adat dan anggota parlemen, serta suara dan upaya kolektif dari masyarakat adat Magar dan Gurung. Dalam momen penuh makna, komunitas Gurung memberikan penghormatan kepada Menteri Utama Yang Terhormat Surendra Raj Pandey, yang kepemimpinannya berperan penting dalam mewujudkan RUU ini, menunjukkan kekuatan advokasi berbasis komunitas dan kemauan politik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kami menyampaikan selamat yang sebesar-besarnya kepada Indigenous Peoples Forum (IPF) Nepal atas dukungan teknis mereka dalam merancang dan mendorong pengesahan RUU ini. IPAS merasa bangga telah mendukung perjalanan ini dan berdiri bersama masyarakat adat Gurung, Magar, serta komunitas adat terpinggirkan lainnya di kawasan tersebut dalam pencapaian bersejarah menuju keadilan bahasa dan inklusi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selanjutnya, Penting untuk merencanakan langkah-langkah strategis yang  akan dijalankan oleh komunitas Magar, Gurung, dan seluruh masyarakat di Provinsi Gandaki agar gerakan berani dan kolektif ini berdampak lebih luas menuju provinsi yang lebih setara dan sejahtera. Masyarakat Adat di Nepal harus secara strategis memasukkan bahasa-bahasa adat lain yang dianggap minoritas di dalam provinsi. Secara keseluruhan, terdapat lebih dari 30 bahasa masyarakat adat yang teridentifikasi di provinsi ini. Menjadi tanggung jawab kita bersama untuk menjaga keseimbangan, melestarikan, merawat, serta mewariskan secara berkelanjutan bahasa, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan dari bahasa-bahasa adat lainnya. Beberapa bahasa ini terancam punah dan berada di ambang kepunahan, sehingga diperlukan berbagai undang-undang atau kebijakan baru yang disusun, disahkan, dan dijalankan untuk melindungi dan melestarikannya.\n\nIPAS akan terus berlanjut dalam proses advokasi demi adanya regulasi serta pelaksanaan yang efektif, demi kepentingan masyarakat adat, serta untuk memastikan keterampilan dan pengetahuan dapat ditransfer kepada generasi muda.
